The work of Newfield Consulting is based on a particular way of interpreting the human phenomenon, a way that places the phenomenon of conversations in the center of its approach.
Gathering relevant developments carried out during the last decades in the fields of philosophy, biology and human sciences, Newfield Consulting states that our conversations represent us, they determine our particular way of being. That if we desired to understand de way we are and the cause of what happens to us, we can find a great deal of these answers by exploring the way we maintain conversations with the others and with ourselves.
Conversations are the key to access the profound mystery of the human soul.
Based on this approach, Newfield Consulting has developed an interpretation of the human phenomenon that Rafael Echeverría, its founder, has referred to as “the ontology of language.” Moreover, Newfield Consulting has developed a new field of expertise that we call “ontological coaching.” We call it “ontological” because it is influenced by a certain interpretation of what “being human” means. This is a way of “coaching” upon the conceptual platform of the “ontology of language.”
I head the corporality area within the ontological coaching programs and I develop it by means of Biodanza.
What is ontological coaching?
Ontological coaching allows to liberate the potential of a person or a team, to manage to increase their output and wellbeing, both personally as well as professionally.
The aim is to supply learning, rather than to teach. The goal of ontological coaching is to develop the knowledge, the responsibility and the confidence of a person or a team. It observes the person in terms of its future potential and not its past performance. All this with all due carefulness and respect for the other’s legitimacy.
